How the Custom Home Process Works:
Step 1 — Initial Consultation
Every custom home begins with a conversation.
We meet with you to discuss your ideas, goals, budget, timeline, and preferred location. Whether you have a clear vision or are just beginning to explore your options, this first meeting helps us understand what matters most to you.
If you already own a lot, we can review your building site. If not, we can help you explore available lots within our communities.
Step 2 — Plans & Design
Once we understand your goals, we begin shaping the design of your home.
Some clients come to us with sketches or a plan they already like. Others begin with one of our existing floor plans and make modifications to better fit their needs.
During this stage, we work through layouts, features, room sizes, exterior details, and revisions until the plans reflect the home you want to build.
Step 3 — Bidding & Pricing
After plans are finalized, we begin gathering detailed pricing.
We work with our trusted network of subcontractors and suppliers to build a clear and accurate budget based on your selections, specifications, and final design.
This step gives you a realistic understanding of the investment before construction begins.
Step 4 — Final Review
Before moving forward, we meet with you to review the complete pricing and project details.
We walk through the numbers together, answer questions, and discuss any changes or adjustments if needed.
Our goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, informed, and confident before the project moves ahead.
Step 5 — Contract & Construction
Once everything is approved, contracts are signed and construction begins.
From permitting and scheduling to coordination of trades and construction progress, we manage the process carefully while answering any questions you have along the way.
